Gender discrimination has racism and other prejudices embedded into it. Women at the intersection of multiple oppressions face intersectional gender inequality & inequity. This is analogous to a massively tiered cake. The BIWoC (Black, Indigenous, & Women of Colour) tiers face higher degrees of discrimination from compounded oppression as a result of this intersectionality.
